Antidot means antidote.
Antidot Publishing publishes specialist books on naturopathy and health. Not brochures, not trends. Books that stand up to being read with a pencil in hand, and that give you the knowledge to take your health back.
The antidote is not a new pill. The antidote is understanding how the body actually works.
The seal tells you what we stand for
The open book
Knowledge. Everything begins with understanding. Whoever understands their own body can no longer be sold a lifelong prescription without asking questions.
The sprout
The life that grows out of knowledge. Vis medicatrix naturae – the body’s own power to heal itself when we give it what it needs.
The drop
The antidote. The Natural Apothecary has medicines; the pharmacy has drugs. The drop is what nature gives back.
The breadth behind the books
Every qualification is a tool. Together they give me something few have: the ability to see the same patient from the health service’s side and from natural medicine’s side, and to choose what works.

I know the health service from the inside
More than thirty years, in almost every link. I have seen the patient in the first minute after the accident, and in the last year at the nursing home. I know what the system does well, and I know where it lets go.
The emergency department and intensive care taught me what the health service can save. Home care and the nursing home taught me what it never heals.
My sources
A private reference library of 90 standard works, gathered over 35 years, most of them from the United States. Orthomolecular medicine, naturopathy, herbal medicine, nutritional biochemistry, the microbiome, acupuncture, diagnostics and veterinary medicine.
The standard works and thirty years of clinical experience are the foundation. Studies come on top, as corroboration. The full library is listed at the back of the books.
Two of my horses were to be put down after injuries. I took them in, and they are still alive. They have taught me more about the body’s ability to heal itself than many textbooks.
