Terms of Sale
1. Seller
Antidot Helse AS (Antidot Publishing), org. no. 934 652 347, Holmsvegen 65, 3721 Skien, Norway. Email: post@antidotpublishing.no
2. The agreement
These terms apply to purchases of printed books and e-books from Antidot Publishing. The agreement consists of these terms, your order and the order confirmation sent by email. Consumer purchases are governed by Norwegian consumer law (the Consumer Purchases Act, the Cancellation Act and the E-commerce Act).
3. Prices and postage
All prices are in Norwegian kroner (NOK). Books are zero-rated for VAT in Norway. Postage of NOK 149 per order is added when printed books are shipped. It is added automatically in the order form and shown before you pay. E-books have no shipping cost.
4. Ordering and payment
Printed books are ordered through the order form on this website, using the payment methods shown there. Card payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal payments by PayPal; we never see or store your card number. For invoice payments, the due date on the invoice applies.
E-books are sold through Payhip, which delivers the file and your personal licence key directly to you.
5. Delivery
Printed books are sent by Norway Post (Posten) to the address you provide, as soon as possible after payment is registered. Risk passes to you when you receive the book. We will let you know if delivery is significantly delayed.
E-books are delivered digitally as soon as payment is complete.
6. Right of withdrawal
Printed books: You may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the book. Notify us by email within that period. Return the book in substantially the same condition as received; you pay the return postage. We refund the purchase price, including the original postage, no later than 14 days after receiving your notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the book.
E-books: The right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content once delivery has begun, provided you have expressly consented to this and acknowledged that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. You confirm this during checkout on Payhip.
7. Complaints about defects
If a book is damaged, misprinted or otherwise defective, you are entitled to complain under Norwegian consumer law. Notify us within a reasonable time after discovering the defect, and no later than two years after receiving the book. A photo by email helps. We will send a replacement or refund you, and cover shipping for approved complaints. If you have trouble with an e-book file or licence key, we will help.
8. Personal data
We process your data to complete your purchase. See our privacy policy.
9. Disputes
Please contact us first so we can resolve the matter. If we cannot agree, consumers may complain to the Norwegian Consumer Council (forbrukerradet.no).
